As part of a team restructure and promotion within the team, our client is looking to hire a travel professional into the senior travel job of Product and Commercial Manager.
As the Product and Commercial Manager, you’ll be tasked with managing a team of Commercial Executives, developing and implementing a product and commercial strategy for the B2C and B2B markets combined with commercially growing revenue, assessing risks, investigating customer trends and booking patterns. Another aspect of this Product Manager job in travel will be negotiating tactical deals with hotels and 3rd party suppliers as well as managing the brochure production, plus so much more.
This is a varied senior travel job that will require a commercial head and a hands on approach. Leaderships skills and team management experience is essential for this commercial travel job as well as the ability to champion an idea and be able to influence leaders in the business to your way of thinking.
The successful candidate will be someone with a proven track record of success in a similar role and maybe working for a tour operator or an online travel business.
