Working exclusively with our client we are seeking to hire a Senior travel professional who will excel in this new created luxury travel role.
Our client is on an aggressive growth trajectory and looking for someone who genuinely knows the luxury and ultra-luxury travel landscape inside out in the UK and globally. This isn't about managing a few accounts from behind a desk. This is about being the knowledgeable expert who sits between some of the travel industry's most discerning luxury travel clients and a portfolio of premium products that can genuinely transform their business globally.
If you're the person everyone calls when they need an introduction in high-end travel, if you know the key players across both wholesale and retail luxury operators, from boutique villa specialists to ultra-HNW expedition operators and if you can walk into a meeting and immediately spot the growth opportunities others miss, this could be exactly what you're looking for.
Crucially, you'll also be identifying which partners they should be working with to diversify and elevate their client base. This means knowing not just who the luxury players are, but which ones align with the companies ambitions and where the whitespace opportunities exist in the premium travel market both in the UK, and globally.
THE REALITY OF THE ROLE
You'll be managing a portfolio of top-tier luxury and ultra-luxury travel clients. Your job as Senior Business Development is to really understand what makes each partner tick, what their business challenges are, and then create bespoke growth strategies that work.
A significant part of your success will come from your ability to understand partner needs at a deep level, not just surface requirements, but the underlying business drivers, concerns, and aspirations.
You'll also be actively identifying and expanding the diversity of the partner base, spotting which luxury operators they should be working with globally, understanding market gaps, and bringing new premium partners into the fold.
The international travel element is real, expect up to 9 trips a year covering the US, Europe and other markets, plus attendance at key trade events. This is a genuinely global role with a UK base.
You'll have genuine autonomy to think outside the box, suggest new initiatives, and shape strategy with luxury travel partners who actually want to be challenged and pushed forward. This isn't about maintaining the status quo, as Senior Sales Business Development it's about co-creating growth strategies with some of the most sophisticated buyers in premium travel, while also identifying and bringing new luxury partners into the ecosystem.
