As a Director of Sales you will work closely with the CEO on devising and implementing a sales strategy for the B2B and B2C markets. The majority of their current business comes through B2B channels, which consists of schools, universities, colleges and other specialist associations. To be a contender for this senior job in travel, you will be a strong leader of people and have a thirst for driving business and recognising new business channels.
Some of the key responsibilities for this Director of Sales job include, managing a UK based and remote team of partnerships directors, working closely with marketing to generate new leads in the UK and Europe, inspiring and motivating a sales team, monitoring performance and taking ownership of escalated issues.
For this senior job in travel, our client is looking for you come with at least 5 years’ experience of working in a sales environment, have excellent communication skills and a proven track record of leading a team in house and remotely.
You may currently hold the job title of Senior Sales Manager, Head of Sales or already a Director of Sales.
