This Events Assistant job in travel requires someone with buckets of enthusiasm and drive. You will be highly motivated and only be happy when you are delivering an excellent service. You will be the sort of person that takes your work personally and will be a reflection of the individual you are.

You could say this is a support role to the Events Manager job but you will have lots of exposure and autonomy to have an impact on this travel job and the business. What is important is that you have a willingness to throw yourself in, have a high attention to detail and can communicate with the trade at any level.

You will assist the events team with the administration, organisation and delivery of the events programme as well as co-managing the production and communication of events to its network. You need to be online savvy to ensure the website is maintained and have a high attention to detail, sending all the invites, maintaining attendee lists and generally responding to enquiries. You will also play a pivotal role in contributing to the events calendar.
