As a Head of Leisure Sales you will be taking ownership of the sales generated through the UK travel trade, to include Travel Agents, Consortia’s and Online Travel Agents.

Managing a team of 5 remote staff covering the South, the Head of Leisure Sales will offer a mentoring approach to management whilst ensuring KPI’s and objectives are being meet. In terms of key account responsibilities, the Head of Leisure Sales will manage the head office relationships negotiating commission levels, override, marketing activity and maximising on budget spend with each account.

Being the brand ambassador will also be a key responsibility for the Head of Leisure Sales, attending trade events and conferencing representing the business is a professional manner.

A strong commercial head is require for this senior travel job, as is good leadership skills, being an individual that the team will respect and look up to, be approachable should there be any questions or problems. The majority of your time will be spent on the road with the remaining days in the office or from home, it is anticipated that 25% of your time will be at head office, so possibly 1 day a week.

As a candidate you may currently being working for a tour operator, airline or bed bank as a Head of Sales or as a National Sales Manager.
