As a National Account Manager you will be tasked with implementing a b2b sales strategy within the UK travel trade. This will involve managing existing partnerships with travel consortias and the travel agency network whilst seeking out new business opportunities.
You will be responsible for managing all commercial negotiations, branch visits, competitor analysis, training and attending industry events. This is a national role that will cover the whole of the UK.
This is a stand-alone senior travel job, therefore you will need to comfortable with working on your own and be well connected with the UK travel trade and have the ability to also work with senior management on commercial negotiations and take ownership of these relationships. Commercial acumen is equally as important, in order to meet company objectives and revenue targets.
Our client is flexible in terms of location, but a minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar senior travel job is essential. You may currently be working for a wholesaler, an accommodation only provider or an ancillary travel business with experience of B2B sales. Alternatively you could be working in a similar job in tour operating.
