This regional sales job in travel will enable you to enjoy a high profile leisure sales position covering the south of the UK. You will have a proven track record of account management and business development working for a luxury tour operator. You will plan your week, meeting agents and identifying areas to increase sales, through effective product training and ensuring your accounts are up to speed on latest campaigns and new product. Developing a sales and marketing plan you will support travel agents to increase revenue. It’s a given that you will represent the company at various trade shows, events and conferences delivering engaging and informative insight.
Another aspect of this luxury tour operator job will be to assist in the commercial negotiations with your agent partners. Combined with this you will offer industry insight and produce regular reports on agent activity.
To be considered for this leisure sales job in travel you will need to have held a similar position for at least two years as you will need to comfortable managing your own time, working remotely. Good knowledge of the luxury market, luxury agents is another key requirement. It goes without saying you will be highly professional, be known within your region and be able to walk into the door of any agency with the ability to communicate at all levels with enthusiasm and a flair for building new relationships.
