Our client is a fast paced tour operator who is looking for an experienced marketeer to joint their team.  As a Senior Marketing Executive you will be taking full ownership of one of our clients brands in relation to marketing campaigns, these campaigns will be a mix of on and offline as well as B2B and B2C so a broad marketing discipline is essential for this marketing travel job.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing the role responsibilities are like that of a Marketing Manager, where you will be devising and implementing the campaigns from scratch, being responsible for its success and analysing the ROI reporting back to the business on your findings. You will act as the brand guardian and the ‘go to’ person for this brand.

In terms of candidate profile, our client is looking for a hands on marketing professional with minimum 3-4 years marketing experience in the travel industry. You will be enthusiastic and hugely passionate about all marketing channels and the travel sector, also have a creative eye and a ‘thinking outside the box’ flair when it comes to ideas. In addition to this, commercial acumen is key to ensure that campaigns are commercially viable and that you’d be getting  return on your investment.  In addition to the traditional marketing channels, our client has some existing relationships with partners which you’d also manage, these could be media partners where you’d advertise in the press, affiliate partnerships and 3rd party partnerships such as tourist boards and DMC.

On the B2B side of this marketing job, you will be training and carrying out webinars to ensure product knowledge is on point, ensuring the sales team are aware of marketing campaigns and event management. In term of B2C, you’ll be driving direct mail campaigns, working closely with the digital team to optimise customer journey, website content management and managing copywriting/proofing/briefing on consumer campaigns.

This is a broad marketing role with lots of responsibility, candidate must have a travel background and the ability to start within a 1 month window from offer.
