Reporting into the Head of Marketing, our client are looking to hire a leisure trade focused Marketing Manager to devise and implement a B2B strategy. Supporting the senior management team on the direction of trade marketing activity to maximising exposure of the business to the trade as well as partnerships with joint campaigns.

To be successful in this senior travel job, you will be a strong marketeer with B2B experience and be well versed with multiple offline marketing techniques to include direct marketing, e-shots, social media, display marketing, trade communications, and PR. As well as the traditional marketing responsibilities, you will as Trade Marketing Manager work closely with the sales team to ensure that the marketing activity with key accounts is on point and commercially viable. You will need to have a professional manner and be able to work with existing partners on marketing budget spend and to be the creative marketeer instigating campaigns to generate business for both parties.

With 1 direct report, you will have some team management or coaching experience and be able to delegate tasks accordingly. This is a newly created and well-rounded role that will offer lots of scope to the develop, offer autonomy to make decisions and to have a major impact on the trade marketing activity.

You might be working for a tour operator in a similar role, bed bank or possibly a cruise line, but what is essential for this marketing job in travel, is knowledge and experience of working within the travel industry and with focus on B2B.
