Reporting in to the VP of Travel Services our client is looking to hire a Travel Manager. As a Travel Manager you will act as a UK ambassador for the travel services division, working closely with the business ensuring that the travel policies and procedures are being adhered to.
Due to the amount of business travel expenditure, they have preferred TMC that handle all the transactional activity, however as the Travel Manager you will be the UK point of contact for any travel issues with the TMC and also regularly liaising with the appointmented TMC to ensure the relationship is maintained.
There will be adhoc projects which will be fulfilled by the travel manager as well as reporting and support the VP of Travel Services in the management of the global travel operations.
With this being a standalone role, you will need to come with a professional work ethic, the ability to make decision and a clear communication skills. You may currently be working in a similar role for a large organisation, or you might be working in an Account Management role for Travel Management Company.
