We're recruiting exclusively on behalf of an independent luxury tour operator with decades of specialist expertise in expedition and wildlife travel. This is a standout luxury travel job, a permanent, homebased role for an African travel expert who wants to work with a company that truly knows what it's doing at the high end of the market.
This luxury travel company serves discerning UK and US clients. The destinations span the full breadth of the continent: gorilla trekking in Rwanda and Uganda, game drives across the Serengeti and Masai Mara, mobile camps in the Okavango Delta, desert experiences in Namibia, and remote wilderness lodges across southern and east Africa. Exceptional product, exceptional clients.
As a luxury travel sales consultant, you'll manage the complete sales cycle from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking, crafting detailed, personalised safari and expedition proposals.
The real advantage of this luxury travel job: once a booking is confirmed, a dedicated admin and accounts team take over all administration and financial processing entirely. You stay focused on what you do best, selling, advising, and building long-term private client relationships.
You'll also have a genuine voice in the business, contributing to product development, marketing, and the strategic direction of this luxury tour operator as it continues to grow.
Core hours 9-5.30 Monday to Friday. Weekend rota cover every third or fourth weekend (time off in lieu). Occasional client liaison outside core hours, logged and compensated accordingly.
